Hey HerReaders,
Last month we had the pleasure of being media for the Project Pink event took center stage. Picture this: a room adorned with pink dresses, suits, two-pieces, and all the girls came to slay in their pink.. It was a sight to behold as everyone showcased their finest pink attire, embodying the spirit of unity and empowerment.
But Project Pink was more than just a fashion affair; it was a convergence of minds, a nexus of ambition, and a celebration of women in business. The atmosphere was set with women ready to network. As plates were filled with delectable delights, connections were forged and alliances were formed, all against the backdrop of camaraderie and support.
One of the highlights of the evening was the raffle, with the coveted HerCover Story valued at $450 up for grabs. The lucky winner's elation was palpable, a testament to the ethos of Her Magazine – a platform dedicated to showcasing the stories of everyday women, from aunties to daughters to best friends.
The Boss Tea Party, impeccably hosted by Project Pink Atlanta, was a sensory delight. From the moment guests stepped onto the pink carpet, courtesy of sponsors Jojo Pixs and Devin Photography, they were enveloped in an aura of elegance and sophistication. Victoria Styles, the red carpet host extraordinaire, set the stage for an evening of glamour and empowerment.
The real magic, however, unfolded during the panel discussions, where luminaries such as Millatto Shavelle, Jenoir Lynne, Kiera Iman, Rachel Hazzard, and Niah Thomas shared their inspiring journeys. One story, in particular, resonated deeply – that of Kay, who bravely recounted her journey from homelessness to successful business ownership in just five short years. It was a poignant reminder of the resilience and tenacity that define the spirit of womanhood.
In essence, Project Pink Atlanta was more than just an event; it was a movement. A movement fueled by passion, driven by purpose, and united by a shared vision of empowerment. Kudos to the visionary founder for curating an experience that transcended the ordinary and left an indelible mark on all who attended.
